Love all the moves. Jays are a force now, got the whole league on notice. Why wait for the chance to see young minor leaguers develop in 2018 when you can try and win right now. Royals were 54-52 on July 31 last season...

Jays are built to win right now. All these moves makes the team a legit threat for a deep run. If they don't make the post-season its on them. AA did a great job - added two of the best players in the league by position and bolstered the bullpen and OF depth. Give the guy some credit. And throw in the complete larceny of the Donaldson trade - he's been the best GM in baseball the past year.

Also, why can't the club sign Price? He clearly loves it here. If Rogers opens up the bank and the Jays shed some expiring contracts, they can still have a good shot at him. Get Drake to put him in a song, city shows him love, give him the most money of any team out there. This can still happen.

Whatever the outcome, it just feels good to be doing what the Yankees and Red Sox have been doing for the past 20 years, while they did nothing. Nice to be relevant again.
