well, all threads of this nature usually start off and then someone says I will be there but I hate the service..then someone says I agree...but I am coming...

anyways.

whatever. I see it I just think you guys should get a better place if the price of beer is too high.

This one time I went there and my friend paid the bill on her credit card and then when her credit card bill came they had charged her twice. That was annoying. The beer is a little more expensive than I like, and I would never wait in line.

However, if there's space on the patio and you don't mind paying hte extra, it's one of the best patios downtown for sun exposure, as it has a wide open parking lot across from it instead of a stupid light-blocking building.

But I usually just go to Tortilla Flats, cause if I'm going for beer downtown it's usually during prime time when it's sure to be packed at the Bull.

I can't wait for another summer on hte patios of Cabbagetown though.

I put in very few patio hours last year for some reason - you'll need to show me the patio ropes this summer!

i don't mind the flats patio, but i think it's a damn shame that it's behind the restaurant.

i like patios that are on the street.

Exactly. I'll only go there during the day when I'm looking to catch a few rays.

What other patio in Toronto has sun exposure like the bull? Ideally one on the street and with beer on tap....

Nothing downtown! There's some likely candidates in the beaches though, I believe.

the Black bull sucks.

Bishop across the road has a far better atmosphere and a top notch selection of draft beer...and Strongbow.

The Bishop also has HOEGAARTEN! And they bring it to you in those MASSIVE Hoegaarten pint glasses!

I swear to god I'm salivating.

Since it's such a nice day I think when I leave I'll take a nice leisurely walk along queen to Osgoode. That way I can see if hte Black Bull patio is actually open. And if any of you losers are on it. :p

Edit: I just want something to point and laugh at, so I hope you're all there.

Ok I'm here! At the Black Bull Patio. It's cold, and there are no chairs or tables.. just me and my wireless pda, but nonetheless, it's awesome.

I've never been to the black bull. I went in once, looked around, decided that it was a shit hole along with my friend, and we left.

In the summertime, I walk past there as quickly as I can. It's not so much as a fishbowl, as it is a REVERSE fishbowl.

People in the little corrall over yonder stare down all the passers by on the streets.

Let's make "the rex" the new cool place to hang out. mmmm. musty.
