Goa parties are tough to explain,you just go on your own journey then compare notes after.
The trippy banners they had put up all through out the venue ,were just sick sick sick wicked visuals just to add to the intence setting.
The place was packed ,everyone was up and shaking it.I have to say the sexiest chics are at Goa parties,DAMN they were all hot.
Anyhoo Logic Bomb were just out of this world they just know how to set ya off.
I'm to tired to type a normal review so this will have to do.I just pray somebody got pictures of this party.If anyone does? PLEASE!!!!!!! post them

At the ZEN Lounge on Queen st.Nice venue
Sorry, I should have mentioned that I already almost asleep and was going to post more after I woke up... wich is now...
It exeded my expectations because it was a big party with a small party vibe.
That happens every once in a while, but not verry ofen so It's really a treat when it does.
Zen lounge was just big enough to accomodate everyone confortably, and although the dance floor could have been a bit bigger, one chould still find a a bit of room to dance for pretty much the whole night.
Well, almost the whole night... Pretty much everyone there seemed to be dancing their asses off to Logic Bomb. Wich is understandable because they played an absolutely awsome set. Not only hard enough to keep you going but complex enough to keep you interested.
Other highlights of the party:
-Decor was great as usual.
-People that were there there to dance and have fun.
-Verry friendly yet mature croud.
-The ending! I don't think I've ever seen that many people with that much energy that late in a party ever before. Great way to end it.
seriously... definatly wasn't the performance i expected to see! if i were a quivering virgin fan i'm sure the 3+ hours of his work would have cheered me but i had to content myself with social activities and wandering for most of the night. nice setup though, and severyn's work is quite slick. i will be more selective and less hyped in the future though - this isn't the first time i've felt a little short-changed by the BLA people... too bad. i was really looking forward to the good stuff.

I guess it really depends on what you're lookin for. I saw a couple harsh reviews on ekto, but they seem to be slaggin the minimal stuff more than anything. Even with LB, i was looking forward to hearing his minimal, and actually suprised at how much melodic stuff he played. You don't go to BLA parties for uplifting melodic, astral proj, satori type stuff, you go for hard minimal. There was a huge crowd dancing till 7am, so they must have been doing something right.
As far as short changing.. not sure if that was really their fault.. The Iboga guys who headlined Archaic Revival played for almost half the party.
Too bad I didn't get a chance to buy you that beer I owe ya

Just so people get a bit clearer picture of what happened on Sat. The BLA crew had originally booked the two members of LB as per the flyer. Then the 3 members had a falling out on one of those two were kicked out. So BLA coughed up the $ for a third ticket to get the remaining member over. Some time close to the departure date/time, one those two whigged out and didn't make the flight. Hence only one showed up, clearly distracted by his friend back home, etc. So before anyone goes pointing fingers at the BLA crew, consider that they paid for 3 tickets and got ONE guy which was totally out of their control - not nice for any promoter. (I was kind of hoping to get the guy that arrived to do a set for my radio show on 1groove but I don't think he was in any mood
).
