I think you enjoy them more on vinyl because the crackling static brings you back to when you were younger in the 70's and 80's nes pas?

My favourite Cosby vinyl when I was a kid was "Why is There Air? - great pic on the cover of Cos holding a basketball, smiling with that elastic smile of his.

There's a go-kart race sketch on that album that's just terrific.

I've got most of his stuff on mp3 now... ah, the memories. He stopped being funny to me, though, as he got older and crankier.

...Sort of like George Carlin - he's unbearable now, but it was great when he was a hippy.

My favourite Cosby bit was the "Buck-Buck game" he played with the Fat Albert gang. Especially when they brought out Fat Albert :D

my favorite bill cosby sketch was the "This is how you have a good time" piece, where he talks about how fun it is to be drunk.

at this time, you wouldn't be surprised to see a shoe come out of your mouth!

That's strange man, cuz I also inherited some cosby vinyl. Well more like stole it from my best friends house, it was his dads. It's to this day the greatest party record of all time.

The skits are hilarious, I have a picture of myself and the record cover, if I had a scanner here I'd scan it. Good times*

i used to be able to recite the "it's true, it's true!" and "for those of you with or without children, you'll understand" records word for word. cosby is a funny guy. he's one of those guys who can tell a story and keep an entire audience in the palm of his hand. he explores tangents; captivates your mind's eye with his descriptions. and he never had to resort to derogatory humour to make people laugh.
