Big Groovy Fucker!!!

The highly anticipated Plump DJ's "Big Groovy Fucker" is finally available. Some people have been asking me about this record since last May (Beaker!) and I am happy to say that I will getting a bunch at Ebloc tomorrow.

A small stash of the "Buddy Ralph E.P." was found lying around in a wharehouse and I will be getting the last of them back in tomorrow, for those who haven't already gotten this homegrown killer 12" this is probably your last chance because it isn't getting repressed anytime soon so don't miss out.

I want to thank everyone who came in to Eastern Bloc last week and took advantage of all the old Prodigy and Freskanova records we got in, it was a record breaking week for breaks sales and my breaks section outsold the drum and bass three days in a row!!!.

my question is....

how many albums have the plumps released? I honestly only know of one (mainstream), A Plump Night Out. Ive got others, but they're all burned. Is this their second? third?

Colm,

Actually "Big Groovy Fucker" isn't an album it's just a single.......most people first heard it on the PLump's mix CD that was released last spring with Mixmag.

On a diffrent note it would seem that the copies of "Buddy Ralph" were lost in transit and they won't be at Ebloc until later this week but I did managed to get my paws on some copies of the Stanton Warrior's remix of "Where's your head at?" which I was only able to get a few of in the fall when it was originally released.

I always find this funny. Someone will put out a bootleg and not give it a proper name, people will give it their own name. After a couple of months, 1 record will have 3 names. Look that the 'Kiss' bootleg...

The record your looking for is called "WINK001", it's by the same by that did "GONZO1"... and not by the Plumps, or Soul Of Man, as previously rumored.

... and yes, there are some at the store.

If it's not by the plumps ... then who's it by smarty pants ... huh?

His name is Ben James. He's an old hardcore DJ that's turned to breaks (remember when hardcore was clocked at a ridiculously fast 140 BPM?)

Ya Wan Come Tes Meh? *kisses teeth*
