i remember ordering cold tea after hours on spadina as well.
What's the shady restaurant north of city hall at dundas west of university? I used to go there every weekend until it got overrun with gangsters and they started to have regular shootings.
anyway, they have AMAZING hot and sour soup.

ever since i started going there years ago its always swarmed with on duty po-lice, getting take out.... funny thing, that.
also the food is typical northamerican chinese food but on the whole, imo tastes better then swatow.
i had a big bowl of jampong last night at ka chi in chinatown.

That place is awesome. Cops go there all the time, and it is constantly packed weekends overnight. The hot and sour soup there is so quite nice. And tasty. Also recommend the spicy squid -- it's NOT calamari!

Tonight I had a H&S soup at Kom Jug Yeun as recommended ^. It was quite good; thick but not slimey, hot and sweet. Lots of stuff in it: shrimps, BBQ pork, tons of tofu. $4 for a decent sized bowl. I give it
