sadly the gallon only produced 7 bottles, not enough for a real party.
I think the yield had more to do with my lack of experience and having too much sediment transfer to the Carboy

I have a blonde to make next, we'll see if it yields more

Just grabbed a bottle of this in the 750ml size because of seeing this on here. So far I'm digging it. Just have to keep reminding myself that it's 9% so I don't down it all in one go. I'm old and a light way now =)

Lol, I'm glad you tried it! I have to do the same, at 9% and how tasty it is, I'd be in the bag way too fast and burn out if I drank too much. Sigh, why didn't I drink this stuff was I was younger!

I was thinking about doing this.

My gf and I have bottled about 150+ bottles of wine and we're set for an apocalypse or zombie outbreak. One was a miss (and is being used as a cooking wine), but most of them are decent table drinking wines.

Tried this beer last week at The Mugshot Tavern. Oh it's so delicious! Tastes like pine.

Red Racer is back in LCBO's, and now in tall boy format. I suspect this will be my beer of summer now. Last year was Kensington Breweries Fish Eye PA, but I like the extra clarity and cleanness in the Red Racer.

For a refreshing session IPA check out Muskoka's Detour. It's got a moderate hops profile balanced with hints of citrus, come in at a light 4.2% and is much more suited to daytime drinking than most other IPAs.

Beau's Ashnan wheat wine aged in chard casks... available at the lick beau

mind blowing on the nose, expressive, light yet uber effeminate..... skunky as fuck off the hop once you drink it which turned me off of it completely... I'm stubborn so the more it aired it (ironically enough for a beer!?!?) the more pleasant it was on the pallet and once it got just short of room temp I got back on the wagon.

I'm gonna try and pour it in a glass and leave it in the fridge next time to see whats the what. evidently they have a whole line of these things...

Yup. Try the Beau's Siduri White Pepper Saison, aged in used red icewine casks. I actually prefer it to the Ashnan.
