Anyone looking to sublet their place for the summer? Going through that U of T list is a waste of time. Basically I am looking to rent a place for the summer (May to August) until I find a more permanent place in Sept. Either a room in a house or an apartment would be great! why do you think the site is a waste of time? If you're looking for something cheap, they seem to have lots up. Have you looked through the whole thing? How much are you willing to spend?

I found it a waste of time because 90% of the listings are for the entire year but I only want a place for the summer. I figure by going on here, I can find someone who has a place for the whole year but isn't going to be around in the summer or has a roomate in a similar situation. I'm probably looking to spend up to $500. I need my A/C too!

looking to spend up to $500? try a minimum..or atleast thats what it wil be if your lucky, anywhere downtown. you can have my apt. im moving out in May..but you would need to take it for the full year.

actually im putting that out to everyone..wanna live in the gaybourhood? my apt is free in May.

Thanks AB, but I got a friends password for the site already. I checked out the site and though there are a lot of listings, going through them is quite tedious the way it's listed. Oh well, guess I just gotta hit the phones and get out there! A far as hamilton rent goes, it just doesn't get much cheaper. I lived there for 4 years while attending M.C Master and I lived in some decent houses for cheap. Damn those were the good ol days.
