but I am higly influenced by it no doubt!...I think some of the greatest talent in music is in the hip hop world.

Same here....but I'd say I'm 1/4 Hip Hop now.


After High School, everything changed.

I used to be all hip-hop, RnB, urban prior to getting into 'electronic' music. I haven't bought myself a CD in that genre in 2+ years.

I am still a loyal fan to BET baby. :D Black Star Power!

I actually was listening to Flow 93.5 in my car last night on my way home to some mix live from a club and was actually surprised at the fact I knew most of the words to all of the songs they played both old and new.

BET or 93.5 does not have solid content in terms of "hiphop"...hip-pop maybe...but that's a whole other genre in itself;)

To totally encompass hip-hop you need the 4 elements of:

1. MC’ing
2. Break Dancing
3. Graffiti writing
4. Turntablism
