any way to save a DAT recorded too high?

i doubt it... but if anyone would know it'd be someone around here... I recently recorded a party and my dumbass forgot to turn down the volume levels, so it recorded and its all distorted and crap.. i did the same thing when i first used a MD recorder, forgot about the volume levels.... any possible way to save them? anyone anyone?

ahhh well.... worth a try....

Sorry, but digital clipping is fatal. :)

You cannot recover digital audio which has exceeded full code. Which means, distortion.
