Hahahaha! He's still sexy.. Maybe not Sean Connery sexy, but sexy..

But truly, many ppl think quantum physics is a new science..when it has been around since the mid-1850's.. At least the understanding of it as such. Roddenberry took may of his ideas from Shrodinger, Einstein (Who hated the theories), Fresnel, Bohr, feynman etc.,

They were postulating the theory of transporter tech in the 40's and actually achieved it in the 80's with a photon(I know because my ex-brother-in-law was involved and I was sworn to secrecy). They just released this information recently.... as being new.. but I knew about it in 87? So how far have they come? The biggest obstacle they found was integrated matter. How do you transport something so large that the calculations would be..again ..astronomical?

check the videos section. they were even featured on discovery channel... if this shit is for real, i am seriously impressed.

what does this have to do with anti gravity?

the 'disc' that floats around is just pushing air out the bottom to 'fly' (it's actually just hovering)

I'm not impressed with the recent popularity of the anti-gravity movement. I think people are ignoring a lot of the important issues at stake here.

<- pro-gravity.

It's complete bullshit.

Antigravity isn't possible in a relativistic understanding of the universe. It would break all kinds of conservation laws. Moreover, there is no matter with 'negative mass'.

This guy, and his company, are quacks. It should be immediately obvious.

It is all conjecture really based on some interesting theories.. But then, so is The theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.. We have lasers. Just don't understand totally why.

Feynman said, " Nobody understands Quantum Theory".

My favourite though is, "If you thought science was certain, well that is just an error on your part"..

A key part of the scientific process is repeatability. Many people, including myself, have verified the roundness of the Earth since Columbus.

The Hutchison effect however (sorry.. 'effects') have not been repeatable for several years, since the infamous 'doctor' was never able to demonstrate his observed phenomena in public.

Oh, i mean, he did levitate a table and make some goo fall upwards on video back in 1981, but has never once ever been able to demonstrate this to an audience. By his own admission he is not able to repeat it on video or elsewise, at all, anymore in 2006. Nor is he able to offer any explanation for how this happened. Yet, he was nonetheless able to do it with spare parts.

He also seems a bit schizophrenic.

But then of course there is this company 'American Antigravity', which, in the first 20 minutes of its presentation couldn't make it clear whether they are a media company or an antigratiy company -- but anyways they display a few of Hutchison's videos.

I suggest you go to their flashy website, purchase their videos which explain antigravity in vivd detail. Give it a watch, and then come back here and comment on their business model.

You can also purchase their holiday gift guide, and advertising space on their portal page, in case antigravity isn't holding your interest (AdRiAn? eh? eh?)

Anyways, to Peej, NemIsis, I recommend a wicked book called "the demon haunted world" by someone who knows both real fiction and real science, Carl Sagan.
