I just thought I'd start this thread to show my love for the one like the Andy C. Ya sure there's been nuff on here about him... I just want to give respect to the don dada.

This was inspired by the new tune thunderball... Fucking wow. Best tune in a long long time. Excellent beats with a tearin energetic rhythm which has become a constant from his musical stable. Guy is ill.

He has remained a pusher of the drum and bass envelope since day 1 a long long time ago. Ram records is pure fucking gold almost 100% percent of the time. He is pushing the free beat for all it's worth cause no one else is touching it... and he's doin it oh so well. His dubs are simply dangerous... his sets are unfucking real... everytime... He knows who is talented and sets them up right quick in his camp. He is as good a producer as a dj. He is a full on friendly and wicked guy.

Anyways thunderball is the fucking chune. Now if he would only do something to make the intros to his tunes more fun to mix

What about Shimon??? Its very hard to say, but since Andy is spending most of his time travelling the world playing, who's to say Shimon isn't the mastermind in the studio, or Ant Miles. I'm not hating on Andy at all(undoubtedly the best DJ in the world and the most consistent record label), but does anyone really know who puts in how much input?? Shimon is a top producer, who i feel deserves as much respect as Andy...he's been in on all the smashers.

Shimon does indeed get mad love. Andy gets more though. Without andy Shimon wouldn't be where he is today. He'd still be brockin but Andy is the main force behind their stuff.

RAM is very consistent...yes.

and when i say consistent, i mean that they consistently put out the same tune.
