I have alternately hated and loved Rush in my life. I dislike much of what they've put out since "Moving Pictures", but am a huge fan of a lot of their earlier stuff. Their first album (albeit with John Rutsy instead of Peart) is a great homegrown rocker. Their music has a special place in my heart, and I think they did a lot for the world to take Canadian musical more seriously.
Best Rush album ever?
Mingster: I'm going to strap you into the backseat of a gold Camaro and blast Permanent Waves at you. You'll see the light.
