Violated, Penetrated, Emancipated!

The best HI-NRG session I have ever seen! This man didn't let it drop for 2 hours. Talent the likes of this are unmatched! Dino & Terri were rippin it up, BUT JUST THEN, when you thought it was safe...

the chantin begins: "Bad Boy Bill, Bad Boy Bill!" what follows, it the thrashing sound of the roof being torn off of System! OMG!

*thank you Bill!*

Everyone is probably thinking... ' oh wow, BBB, he's too commercial'. Well guess again my friends. Think whatever you want of the man, but when you look at him based on beats and skill alone, he's better then any other house DJ/producer out there today. Hatiras, no match, Alanis, MAYBE, DJ Dan, nope. This whole genre of the scene cannot be compared to the funk/hiphop/disco/house style of the man himself.

Anyways! My night was awsome, too bad the girl I had been with the whole night was ENGAGED! Suzen you rule! Anyone else who I said hey to, bummed a smoke, and yes, even the guy in the bathroom who took one of my last 3 cigerettes, you too man, you drove a hard bargin mutherfucker =)

Hope you all had a good night, and I know they'll never see this on here cause they don't have the net, but LAURA and KAREN i luv you kids! =)

OK....first off....'nuff respect goes out to System and promoters for dealing with a crazy Toronto crowd frenzy at the door tonight. Another shout out to the Big O who always shows me an awesome time....

It seems as though Dino and Terry decided to take an anti-laxative for this evening's event as their SHIT was much HARDER than ever before. Sure there were many familiar tracks that they usually spin from their playlist. Tonight I think they raised the BPM's in anticipation for Mr. Bill. Much funkier and rhythmic than before and more mixing. It appeared as though there was less of a garage sound tonight and more house. Despite my previous posts about them it was a lot better...

Now I am not sure how many people have seen BBB before. He has made is appearance at many clubs and raves before in this city. I used to be a BBB fan until I saw and met him at the I-Dance rally. I say used to because at that event....he played the exact same tracks (in order) that were on his "Banging in London" CD. I was utterly disappointed.

Tonight....He was exceptional. Unless he has a new CD coming out

, I heard some new material that had my head and body boppin'. His syncopated hard house, body movin set was enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately BBB's set was not very long... under 2 hrs I think.

Usually I like to take a look at a DJ while he/she is spinning. System was sooooo busy tonight I think I might have seen BBB's hand go up in the air while his shadow was jiving behind the decks.

Coming from a hip-hop background, BBB also likes to scratch in true Chi-Town fashion. Tonight he restored my faith once again in his capabilities as a very different kind of DJ when playing this music. While using some styles as other hard house DJs, BBB's style makes you want to puff out your chest and strut your shit. It's was all about the phat tracks and booty shuffling while he spins. His name also draws a lot of newbies to the scene. (and to System that night) But tonight, I have to smile because once again I am treated to a DJ who gives it to the crowd ruffer and tougher. Just when you figured you can't get no higher....BBB keeps the intensity constant. Ad the scratching to it and we were treated to a furious mix of fucking tunes!

Tonight the speakers at System were the loudest I have ever heard. The crowd was the largest I have ever seen. And for me tonight the most beer I have ever drank.

Peace Party People....

(shit what a weekend)

I am bummed that I didn't make it to bad boy, I'm still a bad boy live 'virgin' although I'm a huge fan of his discs, and have some live sets on mp3...

Bangin' the box vol 5 is on its way out soon, BTW.

How hard was it?

I haven't heard a really hard let alone a Chicago hard set from him in years. When I saw him at Turbo last year he played some alright tracks, but it was nothing like he used to throw down, then when I saw him in London again in the fall he was dropping tunes like "One More Time". Now if that's what you consider to be 'hard house' then his set was no doubt banging!

Daft Punk? BRO, when we say hard, we mean HI-NRG! Meaning, a DJ kicks you so hard in the ass if you stop moving for one-second! I know that i'm biggin' it up, but, it was so intense that I keep thinking, I may never see another set like this! I even asked Bill if they recorded it, b/c I was sure the masses wouldn't believe. Unfortunately, he told me that they didn't!

SO, any of you out there that bootlegged this show, drop me a line!
