Im a 22 y/o dj/promoter/raver and particularly have a love for house from '97-02 so i scan forums like this all the time for a number of reasons to find tracks/reviews/mixes but always find myself coming on and reading threads like this. Funny to see the same shit happening now as it was back then.

I always tend to go through these types of threads as well haha, something about forums that I still enjoy. I used to browse this one many years ago and I don't even remember my account from back when, but a little disheartening that all the culture forums have almost become ghost towns. Still a few posts here and there, but it seems like the younger crowd like yourself likely has no idea about Tribe or the forum.

Ya. I'm sorry to say I don't know who Sally is. I'm a 39 year old from Montreal.. I take it that you are insulting my English or whatever, I'm sorry if it's not up to par with your masters or whatever, I work in agriculture, I don't write books. Maybe you should look in the mirror before typing comments like that to a stranger? I did not talk down on anyone, I said I found it made me feel a little sad that forums are not as popular as a gathering place as they used to...

I also don't mean to insinuate anything by the "younger crowd" but it is what it is, it's been a couple of decades now. Both technology and the mediums used have drastically changed from forums and chats, to blogging and micro-blogging and now to streaming and video. But there's great value in written content, even on aged forums, the information lives on.
