Advice needed for a new car

Ok,

So my Dad owns 3 Car Dealerships, and I'm about to trade my car in for a new one... I have the Choice between :

Mazda
Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep
Ford

And I can potentially get a car valued up to $30K...

What does anyone suggest?

My Car right Now is a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3...

I get to take those out whenever I go visit my Dad. I love dropping my car off for an Oil Change, and taking off in a Prowler while I wait... or I took the Viper out once... Scary.... never got past 3rd gear.

how about a Mazda Protege 5? Its a really decent looking car for the money (too bad literally everyone has one now). The pick-up isn't so good with only 130 horses, but my friend has one and he says its enough horsepower to boot around.

...or, the Ford Focus SVT, 170 horses and more than enough power for it to do what you want it to do.

I was thinking of The Protoge5 and I had the same complaint when I took it out for a test drive, but my Dad's head mechanic said that he's put an Aftermarket Turbocharger in it for me.

And the Ford Focus SVT.. would be great, but I dont know if I want something other than a focus..

Dont get me wrong... I love my Focus... But a little variety in life is good too.

Check out the new Ford Focus ZX5, new 4 door hatchback, kinda sweet! Sporty yet small...but not too small.
The Protege is sweet too, but as mentioned above alot of them on the raod but who cares?!
Im about to buy my first car, Im pretty set on the Acura 1.6EL but Im all about Japanse engineering.... good luck!

the thing you have to remember about a turbo is that its high maintenance. You always have to remember to warm it up and cool it down to ensure proper maintenance.

Mazda has a car called the MP3. Its the exact same platform as the Protege 5 and looks exactly the same except that it only comes in sedan. It has 140HP instead of 130, which isn't really big deal but it is a step up instead of a step down.

Theres also the dodge neon R/T......

Dude... the MP3 Was so Sweet... but it was limited Edition, there are none left,.. believe me I asked.

The MP3 had performance spring, antisway bar, Kick Ass System, Nice Rims... I wanted it... I acted to late though,

I got a 02 Sentra SE-R Spec V..
Kinda like a MP3 only FAST.

If I was going for a ride from the companies you mentioned, I'd probably try and swing a 626 in a 5 speed, or if you can a used Millenia (sweet fucking cars)
