A piece of Survivor 3 history ...

If you are interested in buying some of the props, etc used in Survivor 3, look here.

I really want Kim Power's torch. Actually, I really want Kim Powers, but since that is never going to happen, I figure I'll take what I can get. I have a feeling though that the bidding on this item will go way beyond what it is at right now. It's not fair! How come everyone has to like her?

As I am sure some of you might have guessed, Ethan's torch is the most expensive of the lot (currently) with the highest bid being around $8,100 US.

The immunity idol would be a definite conversation piece, but at $22,100 US (currently), I think I'll pass, hehe. The voting urn from the finale would be kinda cool too.

And for all you bargain shoppers, keep in mind that there is still a t-shirt signed by Diane that is available. Current price is $6 US. LOL!

Cheers ... Ian

I don't think so. I personally would never pay that much for an item, but I whoever does, I wouldn't consider them to have no life.

That is why I like memorobilia like this. Cuz whoever wins these items can say that they actually have the only one ever created and used in the show, etc.

At least the money is going to an AIDS charity and not to the contestants, or CBS.

It's good it's going to Charity.

But honestly I never understood the whole Memorobilia from a stupid TV show that you weren't in

Apparently the highest bidder for the Kim Power's torch retracted his/her bid for some reason. So now it is now down to a reasonable level. Yay for me!

Anyways, I went to bid, and I find out you have to be "approved" by eBay before you can bid. This sucks. Now I have to wait to see if my bid will get accepted.

I am so going to soak up this torch.

Is there anything left from Survivor 2? I'll take Elizabeth's underwear, her headband, her shirt, her just about anything.

I have tried repeatedly to contact the company regarding those 2 shirts. They were not actually up for auction on E-bay, I had found them on their website. But no one seems to return e-mails or answer the phones, or return msgs, etc. Maybe they don't like Canadians? My quest is not over though.

But regarding Kim Power's torch ... I tried to contact the company that needs to "verify" you with a credit check, etc, but the toll-free number they gave me is not dialable from Canada. So I had to e-mail them for another number that actually works. Hopefully I can get it all straightened out by today and place my (winning?) bid.

And this is what Kim Powers looks like ... super cute ... unfortunately, she is in cougar territory (29) ... but you wouldn't think so, would you?

OK, so I called the company doing the auction. I am now on the "approved" bidder's list.

So I bidded. Several times. And I am still not winning.

I keep telling myself "this will be my maximum bid ... if it isn't high enough I'll stop bidding". But I just can't stop. I keep convincing myself to go just a little bit higher.

Maybe I'll have to settle for that Diane t-shirt after all.

Aha! The previous high bidder backed out as a raised the stakes. So now I am in the lead. And it is well below my maximum bid, so I have some room to maneuver.

Wishful thinking.

I am just hoping that some bastard no-fun millionaire doesn't go and buy up all 16 torches, the voting urn and final votes, and the immunity idol, just so he can turn one room of his house into the "tribal council". Granted, I'd prolly do that if I could afford it, but it doesn't make it right.

I need her torch!!

I need everything Survivor.

You have to pass the credit check first! I hope that stumps you, LOL.

I think I should have kept this quiet until I actually won (if I do).

Maybe you should pick someone elses torch. Don't fight me for Kim Powers'. Please? hehe

This doesn't surprise me. If people are stupid enough to watch this show, then I'm betting they would be stupid enough to buy shit from the show itself.

Peace,
Steve
