just got back from a little trek... this time I brought Kul-Kat so she could witness the beauty of the herb birds.
so anyhow... sure enough... the spliff got sparked... and they showed up.
By now, these birds should have flown south for the winter to bask in the warmth anbd raise their offspring... BUT INSTEAD they are here, in Canada, doing drugs!

my final entry:
the birds are great. they will even land on my knees while I'm sitting.. to eat out of my palms.

OMG... they absolutely LOVE the sunflower seeds... so much so.. they would take some seeds.. and go and jam them into the nooks and crannies of tree bark to store them.. and then come back for more. there was this one guy who would always try and take as many seeds as he could before flying away... lol.
i think it's great.. and it brings me to a level of relaxation I never knew existed.
if anyone wants to go for a nice hike one day and feed some birds... just let me know.
