We usually have seeds out for the birdies in the winter. We get the mixed seeds, then they can pick whatever they like.

mixed seeds are the best if you want a variety of birds. especially if you are not sure what's in you neighbourhood. I'm glad you are putting out seeds!!!

it's just chickadees that favour the black sunflower seeds.

just got back from a little trek... this time I brought Kul-Kat so she could witness the beauty of the herb birds.


so anyhow... sure enough... the spliff got sparked... and they showed up.

they are the most cutest.. friendliest.. softest little things. When they land on your fingers.. it's so cool the way their little feet feel. LOL.

one even landed on Kul-Kat's head to get a better view of what I was offering up.


at least now I know where I can find them.
