Hi all. I have just sorted out a whole bunch of web space, so I have decided to upload 6 of my favourite MP3 sets, including one which I have just finised recording - Tear the Roof Off part 2. I have encoded all MP3s at 160 kbps (near CD quality), so the file sizes are a little large, but download time for each set shouldn't take more than an hour on a fast connection. As well, I have encoded them in real audio for those poor souls with dial up, or limited hard drive space. Here they are:

Madhatter - Tear the Roof Off (part 2)
style: downtempo breaks
recorded: March 1, 2002
MP3
real audio

Madhatter - The Nu-Fangled Funk
style: funky breaks/nu school breaks
recorded: Feb 21, 2001
MP3
real audio

Madhatter - Tear the Roof Off (part 1)
style: downtempo breaks
recorded: March 23, 2001
MP3
real audio

Madhatter - Who's Yer Daddy
style: funky breaks/nu school breaks
recorded: Feb 21, 2001
MP3
real audio

Madhatter - Big Shiny Breaks (side A)
style: funky breaks/nu school breaks
recorded: April 23, 2000
MP3
real audio

Madhatter - Big Shiny Breaks (side B)
style: funky breaks/nu school breaks
recorded: April 23, 2000

As well, all these sets are available for download from my website: www.djmadhatter.com

Word the fuck up Angus!

I haven't got around to downloading the set(s) Myagi is raving about but I just finished listening to Nu Fangled Funk for the third or fourth time and it's just so fucking good. You've out done yourself bro, that's an excellent arrangement of tunes with stellar mixing.

On an unrelated note Myagi I picked up your new tune on 2 Wars last week and while I don't care for the remixes the A side is awesome. Releases like these are cementing 2 Wars as one of the most exciting north american labels going.

Respect,

Spence

thanks dude - wish you well is a pretty odd track in some ways, but im happy with how it was recieved...the remixes moved it well with the a lot of the guys who otherwise wouldn't have played it, but to be honest i prefer my version :)
im glad to hear you like it....the next single will be harder but just as crazy.

When am I going to start producing? when I find the time ;)

I should have another new set online by next week, which will be along the same lines of "The Nu Fangled Funk"

haha... nice one. I'll take you up on that ;)

yeah, there's really no money to be made in selling tapes/CDs unless you have a properly licensed comilation on a label like moonshine or something... The only reason I sold tapes was to fund all the giveaways that I made. This way's a lot easier. The only thing is that it's hard to find a whole lotta web space to host your files on. I just got lucky cuz I work for a record store with a large amount of unused web space kicking around...

By the way, here's my latest mix titled 'In The Mix'. It was recorded March 24, 2002.
