Arrival was great. like Klubmasta said, the way we perceive language has further reaching perceptions of space, and time.

Ghost in the Shell: The Whitening

The trailer gives a tiny bit of the plot elements away, though it's still worthwhile watching and shouldn't spoil anything. I always believe the first trailer / teaser is okay to watch, but the 2nd and 3rd always give out wayyy too much of the plot.

+1 about Arrival, really liked it. Also saw Dr Strange, which was fun.

I can't believe there's not much traction on Arrival around here.

It's one of those movies which makes you think differently. And it's worth the price of admission to absorb it on the screen.

I think we've waited long enough for a follow up to The Fifth Element.

To even bring up The Fifth Element, which was a master class, against all new sci fi, which is now a derivative of Twilight, or Hunger Games, or Jupiter Ascending.
