I'd take a bentley instead.

The Rolls is meant as a Limosine.
I forget who owns Rolls now, but Bentley and Rolls were split up. BMW owns Bentley now, whereas Rolls is controlled by another group or something. Of course, i've heard a rumour that BMW got Rolls in a shady deal, buying the rights to "The Spirit of Ecstasy" (the hood ornament) from an aeronautical company, thus forcing VW group to sell Rolls to BMW.

The new Phantom may be ethereal in name, but it's elephantine in price: The sticker, including destination charges and gas-guzzler tax, is $325,000. To rationalize paying such a staggering sum, some buyers, no doubt, will simply calculate what they're getting by the yard. The Phantom stretches more than 19 feet in length, a good half-foot longer than a Chevrolet Avalanche sport/utility pickup. At 5577 pounds, though, the Rolls is weighty but not quite an avalanche on the scales--thanks largely to a space-frame structure composed of what seems to be enough lightweight aluminum to build a B-52. The body panels, too, use aluminum (and composites) to keep mass to a minimum.

Oh sorry... i mixed them up. Holy crap. Does it really matter?
Either way, the rest of what i said is correct, and VW didn't get the rights to the spirit of ecstasy. BMW bought that from Rolls Royce PLC (the jet engine manufacturer), and that's why Rolls and Bentley are no longer together.
