Just fractured my toe riding Schleyer. No bike park for 6-8 weeks now. It was a small rock drop, both my feet blew off the pedals and I took the brunt of the landing in my balls from the seat. My toe smashed into some rocks and fractured in 3 places. I don't need surgery so that's a bonus.

A couple of bills later and my DH is operational again. Got a Manitou Swinger put in for a very low cost, sending the Fox back to be re-built as a back up. "They" told me this was an expensive sport, I didn't want to believe them.

Last day of Whistler riding today (Sunday). Should be an awesome day, we've got a BBQ and we'll have 1 beer each and enjoi the sunshine.

I'm a sucker and bought a pass for the park. Today to the 22 of May is $40/day, 23 - June 19 is $44/day, then it goes to $51/day. I could only do 5 laps today (crank it up and A line) and I was exhausted, it was an awesome day though!

Whistler bike park opened today. Just lower mountain and not all the runs yet, but it was so nice getting back on my DH.

Had a good day of spring riding on Blackcomb today. Fast snow, warm sun, lots (and lots) of beers. Nothing beats it.
