Room for rent in Lakefront apt in South Etobicioke.

Keep my listing in mind if you think of any friends who may be looking for a space. It is right on the Lakeshore, so it's still pretty easy to get downtown, etc. It's a sweet 2 bedroom. Big South facing window, so plants grow amazing on the sill. To be honest, I could probably afford to keep the...

I knew quite a few "white-glove" dancers..........yes, the gloves meant that you felt that your hand-moves were fancy enough to warrant them.....but ya better be up to snuff, cuz those white gloves will draw-attention to your hand movements. and can highlight lack of technique if it's there...

my wife cant believe that I still listen to techno. People who were not in the scene think that the "normal" behaviour would be to let-go of the music connected to a subculture once we leave that scene. But with techno......it seems different.......techno has "legs" lol.....and continues in our...

You were a slick dancer bro!....and you probably still are.......like ridin a bike....we don't forget these things. ;)....Dancing helped many of us "work-through" some of the toughest moments of our life. While others were in therapy, etc.....we were processing/expressing some really heavy...

Right on bro! Yes, I also used to hit a few of their poppin workshops on Bloor near Spadina. There also used to be a back room at scarborough Town centre where youths would practise popping, waving, and ground moves. Often we would get "drop-ins" from old-school poppers from Toronto.

No doubt....and when those dreaded lights come-on, we finally got to see how haggard we all looked. In a pitch-black warehouse....we all looked pretty sharp under those strobes....lol....but in the light of day, showed signs of wear and tear.....lotsa strained facial expressions in the parking...

I remember you busting hard steps Bernnie! Fresh moves.......right in front of the speaker. Pitch black room, illuminated by a single bright orange intellebeam. You are so right Bernnie.....the heavyweight dancers often appeared in the morning, once the dancefloor was more empty. While others...

too many horns and "big-room" jazzy production for my taste.....I know Louis Vega is one of the original dudes, but I like more of a thick dub-tech style (early Chain Reaction, Kompakt label, Freude am Tanzen label....all great stuff) Lotsa "Stacks" and mega delay and reverb, so the beats...
