At the reception after the funeral, all the TBK gathered in one corner of the room. It was like 4AM at the front left speaker. Kevo would have loved it.
It blew me away how many tribers came out yesterday. So good to see your faces again.
i met sara (mutslaster) a few days ago at a restaurant and we were talking about kev, and she told me that she came back onto tribe to see this beautiful tribute thread and i immediately started sobbing. i hadn't even thought about tribe until then, but it immediately made sense to me. kevo and...
hmm...with a group of that size, you may want to book a private room or something like that. maybe the back room at the Emmet Ray? or upstairs at Harbord House? or the back room at Habits Gastropub? if you're into beer, maybe Get Well? i think it's really going to come down to how many people...

hmm...Shoto and Chantecler are quite different.
Shoto is more impressive, and showcases crazy technique and interesting ingredients. it's also very expensive.
Chantecler is more casual, there were several less courses, and it's not as refined.
There is a whole segment of the meal that riffs...
haha! yeah our dessert course was an "ice cream sandwich" made with potato puree, blueberry jam and really thinly sliced toast. it was actually quite yummy but definitely odd.
hi,
i've been to edulis twice, once for a romantic date night with my husband, and another time for the sunday lunch with a group of friends. both meals were stupendous. they are a husband and wife team, with the wife working the front of house. she is delightful as well as very...
Chiado has incredible fish, but it's freaking pricey.
Joso's weirds me out because of all the boobs. but maybe your relatives are into that kind of thing.
