Mr. Pong is likely still in jail. Turn out the whole thing was mostly a front for a giant fencing operation.

We ordered rice from their car once and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten.

Loved it.

I think they went under when they finally ran out of racoons lurking in the alleyways near by.

My grandmother used to trap raccoons. For soup, I think. In '85 or something.

Pong was so plugged into the warehouse scene in the early 90's: he would have a truck outside every party.

I always wondered about how he knew where they all were. . . must have had some peeps working for him that liked to go.

I can tell you that Lake Pong, the (former) owner of Mr. Pong's, is not in jail. I ran into him a couple of weeks ago. He's busy running his other business - a garage - in the Junction. Get an oil change and a free eggroll...

MR. PONGS!!!!

I would probably skip food like that nowadays... but man oh man... did I ever fucking kill that shit back in the day.

Every Tuesday night... leaving the all-ages jams at Pheonix with Tricky, Neil & Cain, etc... I would YAM up a PONG FEAST!

I was considered a Pong-gargon!

Someone should replace Mr. Pongs with some kind of mobile Korean BBQ facility. I don't know how it would work (maybe cooking your meat on the engine of the car?) but that would be so sick.
