when my cat was a kitten he like to open the kitchen cabinet doors and see what trouble he could get into. On time he pulled the colander out from under the counter... pulled it into the middle of the kitchen floor.... climbed in.... curled up and went to sleep. so cute because he curled up the way cats do with their back facing out in a ball with feet and tail tucked in. I took a pic but it didn't turn out.

my cat katie doesn't do the high pitched squeaky meow, but my other cat static does something like this after a yawn: "mmmnnnrrrmm mmm nnrrronnmm" and then she gets up and stretches and looks at me and says "ra-ra-ROW?"

yes, definitely contagious.

Why do cats harass the owners into watching them eat? My cat will wake me up at 5 am, just to lead me to the kitchen to watch her eat.

This is Tita (Tee-tha) named by a friend of mine for "gatita"(little She-cat)

She was lost for three days...

Then came back all covered in dirt.....

i have two cats..kazan and kootnay (named after rivers)
they are sisters from the same litter, english tabbies aka barn cats. i got them when i was in grade 4.

they live with my mum & dad though, and i miss them so much

i do the finger yawn thing too. its like a game.

another fun game is this: two people, sitting in the same room as a lazy cat. take turns calling the cat's names and see how many times it bothers to turn its head to you, before it gets up and leaves the room. fun times.

kazan is coming into her senile years and has recently adapted the habit of taking my sisters socks and running around the house with them in her mouth during the middle of the night. she also likes to do the throaty psycho-meow thing while doing this. PROAAAAAAAW..PEERROOOOOOAWN

koots is just getting fatter and crankier. but its cute. shes always had a really weird whine-baby mew, and silent hisses.
but she always responds when you call her name. kootnay broke the tip of her tail a long time ago..so it always hangs like a hook.

kittttttteeeeeeeeans.

aw thats so cute.

my cats wouldnt care if i died while they were eating. well hopefully they would care...but the point is..they are always ravenous at chow time. even when they were on the special food finary posted about thats supposed to make them eat less, want less.

my cat harasses me (or used to

) by walking with her pointy paws on my boobs while im sleeping.
or by doing that nail hugging thing.
or by coming into the washroom and jumping on my lap.

i harass kittanos by watching them in the litter box. they hate that so much, they always look so ashamed.
or by putting the cone on her head so she has to walk around funny.

katie wakes me up (she seems to have figured out how to open the bedroom door and has been successful a few times so far - this does not bode well for the allergic inhabitant of my apartment) by very lightly scratching my cheek and forehead with her paw.

it's this very annoying combination of cute and obnoxious.

i harass my cats by waking them up when they're sleeping cause they look so cute when they're just waking up! and i also force them to lay on their back and then i put my face in their tummies.

i was visiting my friend a couple of weeks ago.

she got a kitten from a shelter, its still a little skitterish. but it has the weirdest, most adorable eating habit EVER.
they have it on video..wish i could link it..its so bizarre.

she eats with her paws. she takes 1 individual piece of kibble, plops it in the water dish, swishes it around, picks it up and shoves it in her mouth.

no really..visualize this in your head.

it must take her forever to eat..but its so goddam cute!
