Colourful photo thread

Hey all,

Knowing there are many, many, many (you get the idea) people on the board that take pictures, I wanted to start a thread for people to post shots that have great colour in them. They don't have to be just from parties. Here's some of mine:

That's it for now. We now return you to your regular and less bandwidth-intensive Tribe program.

Thanks, that's Orki my pet orchid. However all the blooms have fallen off since and I'm left with a twig for the time being (just picture it minus the shoot with the blooms). But there's a new shoot growing and I should have new blooms within two months.

Just when I was getting bored of the blurry slowed shutter spead pictures of parties, Plato comes along and blows me away!

why thank you
although i hardly think of them as much, its just me goofing around when bored. buits its truw, such effects with nightclub and rave photography is rather overdone, but then agian, not showing any of the ambiance from the party makes the pictures look like crap and like you were partying at some shit hole (ie; flash photography at system = ick :s )

fut, is there anyways we can get some of your pics in higher resolution sizes? and without the writting on them?

I agree that it's starting to get overdone. But, I've been taking pics at parties for years and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon

i think its all about balance

these kind of photography tricks are all cool, but its all about capturing an image, and not justthe colour

for example:

you get the colours, the lights, but you can still make out the people, and thats whats important, that they dont all become a blur of colour, cuas rhtne i just dont feel like looking at the picture.

being able to make out solid shapes amongst the blurs is great as well, like in that first richie pic, or fut's orbital pics.

more examples:

meh :s

same image, but taken differently:

much better

but youdont want to capture too much of the background, as it looks ghetto then:

just gotta press the trigger and pray for the best results.
and that drunken ginos stay out of the way. grrrr...

Thanks for the props man. If you wanna check out the rest of the pictures from that night (if you haven't already), they're available on my website.

Sure, just let me know what res you want them at, and give me your email address so I can tell you where to get the photo. Only thing is that the tagging stays on the photo. Sorry, but it's a credit thing.
