What FTP software do you use..?

right now im using FTP surfer.. which has a pretty nice interface
it looks and works alot like Windows Explorer.. and you can drag and drop right into it instead of using those stupid arrows..

neway.. is there something better?

flashfxp. so good and I get so much use out of it that it's one of the only pieces of software I've actually paid for.

I like Absolute FTP and Bulletproof FTP. I guess it doesn't really matter as it's performing a pretty simple function. I do like the Windows drag and drop interface.

either the standard unix ftp or Transmit - for mac os x of course.

Transmit is good, it does exactly what i want from an ftp client - login info list, drag and drop, remote/home directory view, etc.

btw, in a terminal ftp what is the command for a directory listing of your local files?

type '!'
and it will drop you to the shell (ftp still runs)
do whatever it is you need( ls a directory or what not)
type exit to go back into the terminal ftp.

if you just want to change dir locally without exiting ftp, use 'lcd <dir path>'

that seems to be a pain, wonder why they just don't have an lls, i knew about the lcd but if you don't know what directories are there how woudl you know what to 'lcd' into?

Currently I use Turbo FTP.
really simple interface without a bunch of extra buttons and features I don't need. since all I do is upload and download from my web server with it.
