Levin also tips that he's keen for Hayter to direct the project based on the acclaimed 12-part DC series. The film adaptation has been in development since the late 1980s when scribes Sam Hamm (Batman) and filmmaker Terry Gilliam both took a stab at the classic comic.
i'd love to see a good adaptation of the watchmen, but...

i can see them bumbling it horribly.

I would love to see Terry Gilliam tackle "The Watchmen". He could give it that level of psychosis that it needs.

X-MEN: EVOLUTION - i like this one a lot. the newer ones on the WB are great.

JUSTICE LEAGUE - also excellent.

SPIDER-MAN MTV - i *still* have not seen this but am hearing incredible things. hope they make a DVD soon of the collection.

it starts in 31 days on the cartoon network. the following article includes some episode teaser descriptions:
http://filmforce.ign.com/starwars/ar.../451271p1.html

highsteppa - i did not know it was being done by genndy tartovsky (also responsible for 'the powerpuff girls'). that's a bit weird ... i hope genndy's style will suit star wars ...

Genndy Tartovsky, also does Powerpuff Girls.

Simply amazing artist right down to the sound f/x.

As much of a Batman and Justice League fan I am, I've found the scripts for the animated show to be horrible. They really need better writers.

I guess all this Spider-Man and Teen Titans stuff is on in the US.

While I was in Florida this summer I saw this one called Reign from Peter Chung. Looked brilliant, animation was reminiscent of Aeon Flux.

So, with this new Clone Wars cartoon, will this be the first animated series from the Star Wars vault since Ewoks and Droids? Hopefully its much better.

The new Spiderman is truly amazing. He moves better than any Spiderman - live action or animated. The stories are good and they don't pull any punches. When Spiderman fights The Lotus she kills or decapitates a wack of people.

It's also neat to see computer animation start to look different, stretch out artisticly in various directions.

I finally read all of Killing Joke last night. I didn't realize what an influence on the first Burton movie it must have been. It was great, exactly the kind of Joker that we haven't seen on screen yet. And I loved the joke at the end.
