Blu Ray (and I think regular DVD) copies of The Incredible Hulk movie have shipped with the 2003 version in them. If anyone has bought a copy today, don't open it and return it - I just had a bitch of an argument with Wal Mart.

The Blu Ray don't - they're recalling all copies and the correct shipment isn't expected until Oct 29th. The regular copies I saw out on display, but they could be recalling them too. The have the correct packaging, but as soon as I opened it up, I saw the cover art for the 2003 version in the case.

I'm not bugged about that. It's the argument I had with the customer service desk at Wal Mart that bugged me.

Dude, the location that I went to (it's practically in my backyard), it actually is considered a hoity toity place. I'm not kidding.

Never thought that people that barely earn minimum wage could have such attitude. Or such poor listening skills.

hah.

i just returned from best buy where i had planned to buy that over lunch. the best buy lady said the blu-ray versions were all recalled "because of a technical defect".

that is hilarious. i cannot believe nobody in the disc-making process picked up on that mistake.

i would love to hear how much money that blunder will cost the company.

also - previous articles have said that the incredible hulk blu-ray will contain 70 hours of cut footage: http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=1390

this has not been mentioned in the television commercials. they just say there is an alternate beginning on the disc.

anyone know the scoop?

70 hours? That would be like every take of every shot they did for the entire movie.

Well there's the whole dropped storyline about how Hulk was created by Shang Tsung on the Planet Xenu.

I figured it would be Ed Norton spending 70 hours explaining why he felt entitled to final cut.

The 70 hours is basically a webcam showing Edward Norton smoking a fuck ton of weed and playing through Final Fantasy VII in his skid-marked underwear.
