the new deal...

is in my office right now, trying on clothes to wear in their new video.

pretty random but i thought it was cool becasue all the annoying officey people i work with have no cool who they are.

only the stylist and myself seem to know or care.

the house band The New Deal is getting their clothes from us.

random pleasures in an otherwise hungover, irritating 9-6 day.

Hype, the're great...but I had no idea they had music videos.

I don't watch much music, so I wouldn't know really, but I just didn't think they would have one...fuck, more power to them I guess.

where do you work exactly?

They're overrated, and too self-indulgent to get much respect from me. meh.

Were they at least gentlemanly in person Sarah?

I hope you made sure the bass player didn't buy black socks and shorts!

they are signed to jive records (label that represents britney spears) so it was only a matter of time.

i still maintain that they were better when they were a laid back jazz band.

^^^^HMMM...I see, to be honest I haven't seen them play in a few years, so I didn't know anything had changed.

that's too bad.

so they're not the same as they used to be? with regards to their musical style that is.

no man, not at all

they used to do thursday nights at bohemian cafe.. laid back jazzy type stuff..

now it's all weird uptempo, fast "house" stuff.. it's just not for me.

also jamie shields (the moog player in the new deal) was in one step beyond before which to me was a way better band.

it's all personal preference though

ps- i still think they are incredibly talented musicians, i just don't like the direction they've taken their music in.
