I never thought I'd say this but..

American Pie II was actually a really good movie.

The fact that they didn't try to eternalize the highschool partying aspects of the original and concentrated the film on presenting a crossroads in the characters lives was a really good angle for a sequel.

They didn't regurgitate old jokes but related many to the original movie.

Idunno.. it's a candy flick but it was really good.

I know it came out a while ago but i only saw it recently.

Highsteppa, what did you think?

American Pie 1 and 2 are some of the funnist movies ever. Its not just the jokes. They put together the perfect cast to pull off the characters.

I saw it on the weekend too and was very skeptical, but thought it was very entertaining none the less. At least it's not like every other sequels - this one was comparable to the first one.

*two thumbs up*

very funny movie!
note to self: do not keep crazy glue and lubricants on same table.

sequels are the death of a lot of movies, but this one they pulled off.
I'm having my doubts about the next Austin Powers movie though.

Jer, you just like this movie because you're in it.

Look! There you are on the left! And Finch is on the right! Holy Tribers!

Agreed.

I nearly peed my pants the first time I saw American Pie I and II. Come to think of it now, I saw both movies twice in the theatres. Talk about wanting to relive the glorious days of high school...

The other teen movie i really enjoyed was *Can't Hardly Wait*.

That guy who got drunk on tequila shots and started singing GnR's Paradise City was hilarious.

So was that guy who got stuck in the bathroom.

I loved both American Pie and American Pie 2 as well.
I have a weak spot for cheap toilet humor, it always cracks me up.
My favorite part of American Pie 2 was when Jason Biggs
went to band camp and they thought he mistakened
for that famous trombone palyer and had to play in front
of the whole camp in those tight little shorts and top looking
like a complete ass Total Jokes!

I have a huge crush on Jason Biggs he reminds me of Adam
Sandler who I would also do.

Agreed, this is an absolutely hilarious movie. The jokes were cruder, ruder and more extreme but this movie isn't trying to be anything it's not, and achieves a very tom-green/adam sandler esque type appeal. I fucking laughed my ass off.

I have the biggest crush on the nerdy-ish one that's in love with the blonde chick.

Actually, the first time i saw this in theaters with friends of mine from highschool, as soon as Finch came on, three of us yelled out "JAMES!" at the same time and proceeded to giggle through the rest of the movie about it. He TOTALLY looks like him.
