parks & wilson essential mix - 02-24-02

the new misstress barbara I was listening to earlier is alright, harder than the first relentless beats, but still seemingly lighter than her live sets

Tribes own Ether Mann's (gsnuff) Simplot. A mix to truely fuck with your head.

Get it here - http://subverseco.com/rs01/

an industrial/dance/[random weirdness] compilation made by a friend who used to dj at sanctuary (downstairs). i haven't listened to it in a while, but my recent fascination with electro drove me to dig it out.

Not as coma inducing as their last crop of releases, it's got a bit more emotion to it. Much props for starting off a bit experimental with bola's - vertiphon, it has some drive underneath the many atmospheric sounds, giving it a bit of a feel similar to their first brilliant essential mix. A lot of new tunes on this one. Not quite on the level of their 2000 essential mix, but this is nonetheless a step up from recent fare.

You're fucked on the Parks and Wilson commentary there deep. I loved Painted on Silence, the Baroque Sampler and their Balance contribution. And I expect big things from the Essential mix that I'm d/l now.

Currently - Paul Van Dyk - Live at Casino Berlin, Vandit Night 12/16/01 Part 1 -> just what I needed.

From the Ministry of very satisfied.

to fill the void i've got my freshly downloaded dave seaman arsenal - been hooked on the 'desire' discs lately, so i grabbed a few others.
so far, 'awakening' is quite a solid outing.

I really like the stuff he's done the last couple of months. Love that Oasis remix he's got on Casino Berlin and I think the Moscow Mix.

From the Ministry of big fan looking forward to hearing his mix on GU 22
