Anyone Care to see a digital Illustration I did?

my photo hosting site won't let me host it at a large size, which kind of stinks as it's a poster sized piece and loses a lot of detail this small...anyhow.

it's a self portrait done entirely in Adobe Illustrator.

I know there are several designers and art enthousiasts on the board...

please, feed back would be apreciated...both good and bad.

it looks much better in Vector than Rastor, but what can you do for the web huh?

let me know.

you can tell that it's you. nice style to it too. a job well done. i had no idea you were so artistically inclined. of course, i don't know how hard it is to do what you did, but the end result looks great.

Damon, I'm impressed.

I like the new tag because it's different from other run-of-the-mill grafs. (but for the mill you don't run, yeah?) Nice job on the shirt.

You look like a cartoon character I once met in a magical forest. And sometimes he appears out of the corner of my eye.

...and your work is supahfine too...

thanks guys, that means a lot, really!

wish I could show you what it looks like as a real vector graphic...nice and clean, and about 15 X the size.

Sean:..it's pretty hard to make, every colour and line is done seperatly, and layered on top of eachoter.

so there are actually quite a few elements that have to overlap, and that gets sort of hard to make them mesh well...other than that, it's just like drawing on paper.

ps. Duuuuuuuncan!...what's up boy?

good work...

I can barely draw a stick figure, so I'm impressed by anything that doesn't resemble one...

HYYYYYYPE...

yah, photoshop is great...the intention was to keep it 100% vector though.

I like that though...
