Guilty as charged. Never have and I don't think I ever will.

I love the music too much as it is to fuck up my perceptions.

But sometimes it's just fun, it's no different than drinking IMO.

Of course this thread had to turn into one about what drugs you HAVE done..

I said, *dosed*
so if you're feeling a little self-consious about how much chems you do, you don't make youself feel better by ragging on alchohol use or perscription drugs.. this isn't about YOU. Plus you all well know what was meant by the initial question asked.

i totally agree.

i haven't been able to drink since "the incident" over a month ago, and i *do* feel awkward at times, downing glasses of water in a bar. one thing i definately realized is that i'm not as social as i thought i was...it's as if alcohol gave me the ability to converse, and without it i'm not really sure how to relate in a group setting anymore. i sometimes feel self concious without a beer in hand. (or two or three.)

it's a matter of adjusting.

as far as drugs, have dosed, not really my thing, won't do it more than about twice a year, and prefer to smoke copious amounts of weed even though my short term memory is now shite. (what was i saying?)

YAY! I believe your theory is fundamentally flawed. Unless you drink with teenagers a lot. WHich is OK, provided you also sleep with them.

I have done a lot of drugs in my time and I am still somewhat normal. I have a decent career, and a good life.

I still dose here and there on the weekends and I feel somewhat normal these days. But I might add it is going to catch up to me if I don't slow down soon.

Yet I don't think everyone can pull what I have pulled off, because lots of the old school crew that I use to party with have turned kinda fucked up and never went anywhere with their lives.

If I would have to pick the worst drugs that I have done in the past would be I would pick, Nitrous oxide, Special k, and Crystal.

But I wont dwell on the past thinking I can change it, I just am somewhat more aware of what I am doing to myself now.

Um, excuse me? Dosing is different than drinking, I'll tell you.

It might be fun for you but it's not for me.
Drinking doesn't fuck the music up unless I go overboard.

Same with Drugs, Sunny I was a lush for 24 years.

I only did drugs within the past few years.
And I've never done more than I could handle.

I will say I've been way worse drunk than I have been "high" ... And I've never puked from dosing.

Moderation my son.

You know, MoFo, for 99% of people, MDMA enhances music, not "fucks the perception"...

I've found that shitty music sounds even shittier when on a dose-- it seems to enhance (i.e. exaggerate) the good and the bad.

I'm of the mind that most drugs do the same, except alcohol (that is, they merely enhance what is there already, not 'add' something that isn't there)... it is a central nervous system depressant, so actually more likely to take away from the music by dulling your senses.
