Citronic Mixer help!!..heads up?!

I just bought a citronic pro 8 mixer and I was wondering if anyone owns one or know about their efficiency. Could anyone please tell me if it is any good?! Whats the sound quality like? is there any bleeding? Is there any room between the EQ's for big man hands?! Please! someone tell me if they know anything about this mixer....it is greatly appreciated!('cause I haven't received it yet!!) thanks....

maybe you should have asked that before you bought it.

thanks.....that was very helpful!
Sometimes when you buy over the net the descriptions are not as well worded as you would like. I was just wondering if there were any kind people out there that might have bought one, or had any experience with this type of mixer. Obviously turds like you really help out.
thanks again (dazed!)

Ummm ... actually you probablly should have asked before you bought it ... especially since you bought it over the net ... and why would you take a chance with something like a mixer ... did you even see a picture of it?

haha

it's not my fault you're lacking in the intelligence department.
Most people before they buy something like that would be smart enough do a little research first. It's called common sense my friend.

Hey stu, Yes I saw a picture of it. It looked alright. and Dazed I did do alot of research, thank you very much. I saw a picture of the mixer on this message board but there wasn't to much commented on it other than some guy thought it was good. The price seems right (in my range that is). From all the other dj gear stores i looked through, that one seemed to be the best buy for the money. And I wasn't going to buy another Numark....
Thanks for you insightful criticism. Are there any other people out there that have bought this one????????

The Citronic to Numark ratio is pretty equal, my man. My advice: sell it BACK over the internet to another chump, then at least buy a Vestax with the same cash.

Hey Hardtecfunk, where can you get a decent Vestax for that kind of cash (not all banged up and shit) Vestax is top-o-the-line (800-2500$)...waaay out of my price range. Have you owned one before? How do you make that kind of comparison (Is is just word of mouth or do you have facts...proof that their quality is about the same?...just wondering, and thanks for your input. What kind of mixer could I get for $400. (thats all the money I can spare......I'm gettin' married!)

Thanks DAZED...I'll check it out! And I really appreciate the descriptions. Where is metro sound though? Is it in Mississagua or TO?

Postpone the wedding.

J/K!!! yeah - see dazed's post....and yes, i have played a number of times on mixers by both companies. Both are pretty crummy in that they don't last very long (and for a couple hundred dineros, i don't know about you, but I'D want something that I wouldn't feel cheated on). If you've had one already, you know - an extra bit of $ is worth it in the long run, trust me. Poker Face on this board owns a citronic too and I'm sure he'll tell you the same.

I own this Citronic Mixer (the MSX-1 DJ Mixer).

the only thing that I dont like about it is that it is a stiff crossfader, and that is fixable.
other than that, I love the mixer.
It looks phat, has a good cueing feature, rotary and auto kills, and those punch button things.

Thanks Function. The picture really helped out. I actually bought the Pro 8 mixer. Its basically the same mixer only has eq's for the mic and an extra line in for cd. Thanks though. Hey by the way what was the cost of your mixer???
Was there any bleeding of sound?

I got it in a package deal with some other stuff I bought off my buddy.
I honestly don't know how much it's worth, but I had used it on many occasions and liked the way it performed, so bought it.
