overseas gift vouchers

This is a long shot, but thought i would ask.
Does anyone know an online site where you can buy Gift Certificates for stores in England, that will also send the gift certificate to the person in england.
I think I found one googling but who knows if its safe or whatnot, I dont trust the whole online shopping thing very much.I will do some more googling to see if I can find anything else.
Just wondering anyone had done this before or knew of any good sites?
is there a way to check if a site is a "Safe Site?"

Why don't you just go directly to the UK site?

Amazon, Selfridges, Topshop...

yeh thats true, like i said im still googling stuff.
Its nice if there is a site that has gift certificates for all sorts of places tho, as different family members like different things.
and like i said, im not liking the whole shopping online thing, and would rather use my credit card in one place than 50 different places. one stop shopping baby!!!

But you can go to the site and just order the gift certificates there.
Try department stores.

Amazon has everything.

Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and Gift Certificates - Voucher Express - Next Day Delivery does what you're looking for and allows you to send different vouchers to different people in one order

What about a major credit card gift card/certificate? It should be good anywhere, and if you're not sure, it should be easy to check before buying it.

You can get American Express gift certificates that are as good as money wherever Amex is accepted.

a UK friend just tweeted this, DirtyGirl, so i thought i'd post it for you in case it's of use ... lovely hand decorated cookies in tins, cookie cards, cookie christmas decorations (of course they're called biscuits)

"If you're in UK or sending xmas pressies to UK, there's 15% off at welcome to biscuiteers - delicious hand iced biccies to order on line - say it with icing using code christmas09 until Nov 30. Wonderful stuff!"

they have lots of kinds, not just xmas
