Chapmans Ice Cream Plant - burns to the ground

Burning

So i used to live in Markdale, and knew the owners and the children quite well.

my brothers are still quite good friends with the Heir to the Ice Cream throne.

it burned down today, and i bet alot of people in markdale will be sad.

i for one, had a bit of a falling out with the Heir, and so in honor of fallen ice cream homies, i will pour out a bit of ice cream sunday for you.

then dance a jig and giggle.

still to bad, hope the insurance allows them to build a more fireproof ice cream plant so they can continue to fatten up the local county children.

chapman's ice cream is gross. the only kids who eat it are the weirdos with nut allergies.

blah chapmans... you are better off eating a bag of sugar...

this is other food they serve up in the area...

i'm surprised no one has uncovered any tracks pointing to Ben and Jerry's with their biker gang following and all.

my bad, the joke wasn't very obvious!

Infamy bred notoriety, and in the mid-1960s The Nation magazine sent a young Hunter S Thompson to write about the Hells Angels. Soon afterwards, Hollywood came calling again and Jack Nicholson starred in the 1967 release Hell's Angels on Wheels. Rock stars such as Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead struck up friendships with the bikers, which Garcia admitted was a bit scary because they were, as he put it, "good in all the violent spaces".

That was proved beyond doubt on 6 December 1969, when Angels were hired – for $500 worth of free beer – as security guards for a Rolling Stones concert at Altamont Speedway outside San Francisco. Armed with pool cues, they attempted to keep order while drinking, smoking marijuana and dropping acid.

I think that is the distribution centre that you passed.
I tried to see it too when i drove thru there, but i didnt see any burned down building so i dont know where the burned one down is.
just heard this morning all full time employees will paid for a year, and hourly employees for 4 months while they rebuild. thats pretty nice of them.
