ooh so many good ones
Death rain habanero from a wee store in the west-end of Glasgow, Scotland(this one is not for the faint of heart, also used to flavour death rain potato chips)
McIlhenny Co Tabasco Chipotle Sriracha (I sometimes mix in a little honey, adds a nice sweetness to it) The sweet Chilli sauce my SO's mum puts on the lumpia shanghai Chilli oil in the dim sum places last but not least, my own creation from back when my gut was iron "Ass-razor chilli" |

my best friend combines Sriracha & mayo together and puts it in a chicken wrap. I tried the sauce combination and it's really fuckin' good!!!

the chef at my work makes this wickedly insane Harissa sauce. He got the recipe from an African lady and follows it zealously. It's some spicy stuff!

I do agree with a prevous post however that you can't just have one sauce. The Sirahcha on the left would have to be my first choice but there are a few other notable mentions. Dave's insanity sauce is really crazy but for the overall heat factor, you can't beat it. Another one is called Da Bomb and has a picture of a nuclear warhead on the front, very hot. Franks extra hot is quite good as well. I think the key is to blend a quality, unique taste as well as having a nice heat level. P.S. Tabasco is absolute 9 parts BULLSHIT and 1 part vinegar, for complete amateurs. The green tabasco is passable only because it has a good taste to it, not for the heat factor but even then, it gets to be a bit too much due to the vinegary taste Last edited by Rage; 10-27-2008 at 12:14 AM. |

Just made some hot sauce this weekend...
Scotch bonnets, habaneros, jalepenos, and banana peppers, some wine vinegar, dijon mustard, onions, garlic, and parsley. Holy crap is it ever hot, but it's got a nice sweetness/tangyness too. |
