I don't know, seems like it would be like paying for sex.
Sure you'd get off, but the chase is half the battle.

Who was that chinese or possibly vietnamese guy who had a mansion and a boat full of bikini girls who wanted to show you his secrets of success? I really liked his ads.

Of course the secret to these guy's success is the selling of the secret itself. That's what makes them successful in the end. Very difficult to discover evidence of what they did before they became motivational speakers and started selling tapes/cds and kits for 4 easy payments plus shipping and handling out of Roanoke.

These guys are just fountains of charisma and not much more, preying on the insecurities of people to pay big money to attend their speaking tours, to buy their audio cassettes and books and DVDs.

I'm sure that every now and then, someone in trouble learns something they can use to better their lives - but most of the promises of big change and great success are worth less than nothing.

His stuff is basically like a really good friend telling you the things you most want or even might need to hear. He's a really good writer and speaker, and he does know how to motivate most people.

I'm not a total true believer, but I do think that his popularity and his work do speak for themselves.

three conditions:

1. My ticket be comped.
2. I smoke a naughty little joint beforehand with the mate that comped me.
3. I have nothing better to do.

His système dentaire is neanderthallike. Anyone remember the smile motif in Death in Venice? As a skull smiles, it represented death. I'd want see him on the Lido, or Venice Beach.

Anyway, high, I'd be all the more receptive to motiva— … yaaawn. Zzzzz.
