deodorant was invented in the last 50 years. beforre that we were allowed to smell like men and people just accepted it.

ok someone being allergic to it, fine.

ok so it was only invented within the last 50 years. SO FUCKING USE IT!

toothpaste is also a relatively new invention- and it helps my quality of life- so I use it.

    next reason?

is there anything like RELIGIOUS that would prevent you from using it?

lately ive come to terms that some religions are just too reverse.

like... well i wont say it.

I had a physics teacher in high school who used to say that he already puts enough chemicals into his body that he has no choice about (ie, food additives and stuffz), and since he has a choice to use deodorant, he exercises his right to not use it.

The allergy thing is moot. There are lots of products out there for people who want to where deodorant, but think they can't.

There is this guy in my gym who doesn't wear deodorant, and he is by far the smelliest son-of-a I have ever smelt, its brutal. Nice guy, but holy crippes its deadly. Its like you have to move away for fear that someone will think its you. But no one says anything. I think its a cultural thing? Maybe I'm wrong?

Thank god he hasn't been around lately, its made my gym days much more happier!

yup! like the crystal salt ones that aren't deodorzied OR use zinc.

I'm not sure if there's any specifically religious reasons, although there might be.

But definitely, some cultures just don't subscribe to that type of thing. They dont' mind people smell. It ain't no thing to them. When you're around a smell for long enough, you become accustomed to it.

maybe because some deoderants leave white residue all over so they end up looking like mimes.

i, however, have found some nice clear deoderant that does not smell like cheap cologne

yup, i have some natural stuff i got from a health food store because the regular kind is irritating, and it works like a charm (or at least, I hope it does!!!)

I don't wear it cuz why clog up my pores and well nobody has complained yet (Shut it Jake)

I wore men's deoderant cuz women's ones only have the pore clogging ones.

I don't smell bad.. and it took 4 days of not washing and paddling in the Dumoine last weekend to realize that it takes that long before my pits have a faint smelliness to it.

    Thank you!

If you shave your armpits you leave less room for the odour to stay and linger.

I dunno bout this whole cause we're men and it's natural. The romans and egyptians used perfume. ME personally... I don't find stank festering pit stench to be that appealing. I'm not neurotic about it or anything but even if I'm in a mood to let it ride... more often or not I'll throw some on cause I remember the look of repulsion on my poor moms face when she told me I needed some deoderant. Unfortunately for her 'Eric you should put some deoderant on before you go out' comes out as 'Hey you stink I bet you can't make me smell your pit.' in my head anyways.

    I do!

It is forbidden in certain muslim religions. Honestly it's no different than the reek that North American's apparently have due to our vast meat/dairy consumption.
