Right now I'd have to say it's "Believe in You" by Amanda Marshall.

I've been priviliged to have had some fabulous friends that stood by me when I needed them the most, and believed in me after I had given up hope.
Then one day, I woke up and realized that I believed in myself as well.
After a lot of rebuilding, I realized I was ready to truly give back to my friends (old and new) what they gave to me.
It's a pretty simple song, and it's also quite cheesy, but it reflects my feelings to a tee.

    LYRICS
    Somewhere there's a river / Looking for a stream / Somewhere
    there's a dreamer / Looking for a dream / Somewhere there's a
drifter / Trying to find his way / Somewhere someone's waiting / To
    hear somebody say

    CHORUS
I believe in you / I can't even count the ways that / I believe in you /
And all I want to do is help you to / Believe in you

Somewhere there's an angel / Trying to earn his wings /
Somewhere there's a silent voice / Learning how to sing / Some of
    us can't move ahead / We're paralyzed with fear / And everybody's
listening / 'Cause we all need to hear

    CHORUS

I will hold you up / I will help you stand /
I will comfort you when you need a friend /
I will be the voice that's calling out

I believe in you / I can't even count the ways that / I believe in you /
And all I want to do is show you / I believe in you / And there are
just so many ways that / I believe in you / Baby, what else can I
do but believe in you - believe in you / All I want to know is you
    believe - believe in you

For many years my song used to be Radiohead - "Exit music". Its coldness yet romantic essence accurately reflected my conflict.

Then a short period of infatuation with Lamb - "Gorecki" followed. I was blinded by its beautiful music and lyrics which envoked immediate and overwhelming feelings. Yet shortly afterwards its lack of depth put me back on track...

Nowdays I'm on a quest of exploration. Self identification mostly.. and this is my current song:

    MASSIVE ATTACK - "Group Four"

    [3d]

A flask I drink of sober tea
    While relay cameras monitor me
And the buzz surrounds it does
    Buzz surrounds
    Buzz surrounds

    [Liz Fraser]

    Closed eyed sky wide open
    Unlimited girl unlimited sigh
    Elsewhere
    Indefinitely
    Far away
    Magnifies and deepens
    Ready to sing
My sixth sense peacefully placed on my breath
    And listening

    [3d]

    Keeps me from my hurt

    [Liz Fraser]

My ears know that my eyes are closed

    [3d]

    Perish thoughs like contraband
I train myself in martial arts
    As advertised
    I reinforce my softened parts
    As advertised

    [Liz Fraser]

See through me little glazed lane
    A world in myself
    Ready to sing
My sixth sense peacefully placed on my breath

    [3d]

    Flickering I roam

    [Liz Fraser]

    And listening
My ears know that my eyes are closed
    Ready to sing
My sixth sense peacefully placed on my breath

    [3d]

    Flickering I roam

    [Liz Fraser]

    And listening
My ears know that my eyes are closed

    [3d]

    I see to bolts
    Put keys to locks
    No boat are rocked
    I'm free to roam
    On dummy screens
    And magazines

    [Liz Fraser]

    Closed eyed sky wide open
    Unlimited girl unlimited sigh

    [3d]

To think that I lay next to you
Wasting time when I could do
A simple job in strip lights
    A flask I drink a sober tea
    'Till daylight sends me home
    Flickering I roam

    [Liz Fraser]

    Daydreaming admiring being
    Quietly, open the world
I hear the time of the starry sky
    Turning over at midnight
Seen through me little glazed lane
    A world in myself
    Daydreaming admiring being
    Quietly, open the world
I hear the time of the starry sky
    Turning over at midnight

Hello, I've waited here for you... Everlong.
    Tonight, I throw myself into,
And out of the red, out of her head she sang.

Come down and waste away with me, down with me...
Show how, you wanted it to be,
I'm over my head, out of her head she sang.

And I wonder when I sing along with you,
If everything could ever feel this real forever.
If anything could ever be this good again,
The only thing I'll ever ask of you.
You gotta promise not to stop when I say when.
    She sang:

Breathe out, so I can breathe you in,
Hold you in, and now, I know you've always been there
Out of your head, out of my head I sang.

And I wonder when I sing along with you,
If everything could ever feel this real forever,
If anything could ever be this good again.
The only thing I'll ever ask of you,
You gotta promise not to stop when I say when.
    She sang:

And I wonder, when I sing along with you,
If everything could ever feel this real forever,
If anything could ever be this good again.
The only thing I'll ever ask of you,
You gotta promise not to stop when I say when.

One good thing about music, when it hits you (you feel no pain)

Glory Box - PortisHead - Dummy LP

    I'm so tired, of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
    Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play
For I've been a temptress too long

    Just. .

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman

    From this time, unchained
We're all looking at a different picture
Thru this new frame of mind
    A thousand flowers could bloom
Move over, and give us some room

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
I just wanna be a woman

So don't you stop, being a man
Just take a little look from our side when you can
    Sow a little tenderness
    No matter if you cry

Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to be ee, a woman
Its all I wanna be is all woman

For this is the beginning of forever and ever

    Its time to move over
