Worst. Episode. EVAR
That was awful.
you cant be serious.
i laughed the entire time. but then again i will never lose my love for the simpsons.
so, you're saying the ENTIRE 22 minutes was awful? That's not true, 'cause the episode did have it's moments...many moments.
What exactly was funny? I laughed at Milhouse, and that's it.
i was pleasantly surprised at how funny that episode was.
jane, are you still drunk from yesterday night?
-The Gay Parade sequence
-The "View" parody
-and, the whole Popeye parody at the end.
yes, and that too
Yeah, those parts were pretty funny...but still didn't make it a good episode.
The first 15 minutes actually had a storyline and theme going...Homer learning to listen to people.
Then they just throw in a stupid ending with a demolition derby for no reason.
"Here have a pile of money"
"The View" spoof (esp. the Star Jones character)
The Drederick Tatum "I will eat its children" line.
The whole false impression given from the play rehearsal followed by yet another false impression with that guy walking in afterwards (now that's intelligent, unexpected comedy).
The suicide machine.
There was a ton of funny stuff but it was a downwards sloping episode that started great and ended weak (IMO).
It's a cartoon, not a soap opera.
I will agree this wasn't the best episode of the season, but it did have some funny parts. As per mentioned above.
So, you ask what exactly was funny....then, agree most parts were funny.
why are you arguing over it? WHO CARES!!! some liked it, some didnt..drop it already.
Am I arguing over it? Do you see me typing in capital letters, insinuating that I am raising my voice? No...and no.
Seriously I thought it was a very decent episode. Also "stop ramming my wife" great stuff.
Does it get any more postmodern than this?
People arguing about the [arguably] most postmodern show on the planet?
It's giving me echolalia.
im sorry Toby...you are not arguing..but instead..you are..how do i say?...tres belle?
The gay pride parade was great.
Maggie and the bottle with gay dogs
Smithers and Selma/Patty waving from behind the closet
Lesbians in the Carribian!
C'mon! and of course Millhouse shines once again as the bed wetter.
It's giving me echolalia.
im sorry Toby...you are not arguing..but instead..you are..how do i say?...tres belle?[/B][/QUOTE]
you are...how do I say?...acting like a 10 year old.
Started out well, probably because their was no real storyline for the first half of the show, just a bunch of random funny scenes. Second half was "eh", except for the Milhouse scene.
