I didn't even think I would be in attendance and had I not been I would have kicked myself repeatedly for missing what had to be the best set I have ever heard!!!!

    DJ SATORI OWNED this party...

walking into the Reverb you are overwhelmed with kick ass decorations, black lighting, gothic and goa stylin' people, and POUNDING tech-goa... and holy shit was the place bouncing.

    The crowd never stopped!!!!

but as the night progressed I grew tired of the goa that was on and was preparing to call it a night until I hear Satori telling Pete he is playing full out goa... not the techy stuff with no melody, but crazy acidy KICK ASS goa... the stuff I love to death!!!

AND HOLY SHIT, I haven't danced so hard in EVER!!! My body wouldn't stop, I was bouncing everywhere with the company of many other goa lovers and a smile was frozen on my face.... my insides felt all gooey from dancing so hard and from hearing such amazing and fantastic crazy ass tunes.... I still can't believe how good it was... shit...

the night was so fucking wikkid, that set made my year complete....

It was such a goa party as well with the typical goa girls (yummers) and crazy creepy goa dudes... including drawing man who sketches pictures of the women at the party... he added many to his little book, including me.... so weird.. haha

anyways... alas I must sleep, but I was just so excited at what an incredible time I had...

thank you so much Resistor crew...

    ~ Johane

so many hot gothic/goa girls... damn.

I'll say this much. It's a little blurry if it has ever been the case that I wanted to stay for every minute of every set at a party, but Resistor was definately as close as it gets. They totally satisfied the need for hard, dark and driven tech-trance that has been so sorely missing from Toronto. Everything else that I've been to in the past year and a half pales in comparison. Most probably an overly enthusiastic review as I recognize that I am in the minority in the toronto scene where a night like this would probably be too hard. But that is all the more praise for a night like this to happen. Keep throwing parties like that and I've got a new home.

    R351570R rocked the Reverb!

Yeah, I was almost not going to this being a tired and lazy ass earlier tonight but in hindsight I would be kicking myself furiously if I'd missed this.

Such a nice job on the venue, decorations, lasers, a chill room. This party had a tremendous (dare I use the word?) 'oldskool' vibe. I definitely had the same feelings in me as I did at my very first parties many moos ago. The people that I met were all really nice and it was sweet too having some of the TBK in effect (Happy Birthday Dan!)

Don't get me wrong, I'm down with the tech-trance that was mostly being played, but honestly I was there for the Goa.

    Satori delivered.

I can't even encompass in words how happy hearing real goa made me feel. His set was absolute madness and I have no hesitation in expressing that this was the single best set I've heard this year.

I really, really...... really, feel sorry for anyone who was there and left before Satori's set as this was truly the definition of goa trance. Hard acid lines, mad buildups, classic tunes not heard for years, all mixed terrifically together and programmed excellently as well. I think I almost lost my balance and fell over when this set was done (no, not for *those* reasons, party responsibly folks [IMG]).

Nick delivered a definite headliner set and the crowd appreciated it too which made it all the better. I honestly did not know what to expect going into the night, I had high hopes but this far exceeded my expectations.

Much props to Satori and to the R351570R crew for a great night. And to think... I was this close <-> to not going...

I wish I could make it out to hear Analogue Pussy on Sept 29th, but I'll definitely be at the next event.

note to self, no matter how kick ass a party was wait until you're not fucked up to write a review [IMG]

I mean that for the majority of toronto a night like this would probably be too much and thus a night like this is really more to do it than to make money. I'm glad that they're catering to the crowd that wants it full tilt all night long [IMG] mad props

    Satori is the muthafuggin man!!!!!!
Once again Nick delivered a sick ass set that had me going mad. He never ceases to amaze me. hands down one of the best DJ's in the country [IMG]

I stopped by after seeing pete rock at the opera house, and had no idea what to expect. Turned out I had a wicked time for the short time I was there. Too bad my frineds forced me to leave early... bastards....

So ya, good times were had by all.

Now it's off to bed for my drunk ass.

Well everything I wanted to mention was said...I couldn't wait for this party and I tried to convince some of my other friends to come but they went to System and the Guv...I KNEW Resistor was THE place to be...I went with my other friends and it was OOOh SO SWEET....My arms are fucked this morning from swingin my glow ALL night but it was WELL worth it...The crowd was great...YA I was wondering what that guy was doing with his notepad so this guy that I met playing with HIS glow sticks (Boris YOU are DA MAN) told me he is an artist & was drawing quick sketches of poeple....Spontaneous insperation I guess...

Well EVERYONE at Resistor...I take a huge bow to you :)...I can't wait for the NEXT party and I WILL be there for Analog Pussy...FA SHORE.....

    And I thought they'd have a tough time out-doing R351570R 1.

Once again this party just wouldn't stop.. peaking out at the end with yet another commanding set by General DAM! Relentless beats that just punished. Congradulations Clayton (sorry i missed your set!), Hillary and the rest of the R351574NC3.. the work you guys put into this one definately showed.. massive decor.

    Notable sets:

Jebediah - dark, wicked and pounding. This guy always pleases.

Satori - i've been waiting for this set since the first goa mixtape i ever got from nick in 1996. Probably out of all genres i've heard him spin I think goa is by far where his talent shines the most.. and fuck did it show! Schooling everyone on where the goa sound came from.. this set was one of the best i've heard this year.

DAM - There aren't many dj's that can take over where satori left off .. however DAM delivered! Just like R1 he ended the party with a huge mutherfucking bang.. like Deep said.. full tilt right to the end.. I don't know exactly what you'd call his style as there was a bit of everything it seemed.. crushing beats that left pretty much no survivers once the lights came on. Props.

Thanks tribe peeps who showed up and for the positive response.. see you all at

    A N A L O G P U S S Y !!!!! R3!!

    and oops.

how could i forget the chillout room crew.

Blue - missed your first set however the second was just what i needed at 4am. nice smooth chill out .. respect!

In Motive - rolling jungle that could have used a bit more bass however nothing you can do about that. very nice.

Hard Drive - missed alot of his set due to the fact he was on while satori spun however what i heard was pretty good.. congrats sean!

I'd like to thank everyone who helped put this together and make it such a success and good time. The DJ's in both rooms, the setup crew and after-party denziens, TFX and Dana for the pyro, the IES crew, Ash, Steve, Aaron and Dom at the club for their support, the many revellers who came out and made the party what it was with their expressive smiles and explosive dancing, the friends who helped with running around and especially promoting - this wouldn't be a reality without all of your help. Special thanks and all my love and respect to my beautiful bloo grrl, bathory.

I can't put into words how much it means to bathory and I to see the enthusiasm and spirit that everyone shows in the preparation, presentation, enjoyment and aftermath of these parties. It really makes all of the hard work seem a pleasure, and the R351570R will only get better. It's wonderful to see that a party that we designed for the tastes and desires of our sketchy tribe is being adopted and enjoyed by others. The overwhelming amount of help and support is also appreciated.

I look forward to doing it all again, again and again, and with our quota for the club being reached for numbers and liquor sales in only our second party, we know that we can continue the good fight.

Analog Pussy is due here in a month's time, and it will be our biggest effort yet. We're a bit late in getting the tickets out, but they should be available on www.cyborganization.org in a day or two, and we should have tickets in the stores shortly after. Any help in word-of-mouth promoting and emailing friends is muchly appreciated. Thanks again for heeding our battle-call, and making R351570R what it is!

    *Wow*

Thanks to Graver and Bathory and all the DJs for putting together another kickass partay!!

Giving out fruit was a really nice touch! Not only did it revitalized our punished bodies, but it also gave people the impression that the Resistor Krew is not doing it for the money but for the love of the music [IMG]

I had also exposed my friend for the first time to GOA/Psy Trance and I got her sayin "Oh my God this stuff is soo relentless!! Its soooo goood!!"

Kudos as well to the awesome decor..
Cant wait for Analog Pussy to hit T.Dot and spread the madness [IMG]..

Also it was nice to meet some peeps from this Board i.e., Dan *Happy Birthday!!* and Patrick..

    Cya!

    love and laughter...

Ok, I remember Rosey pointing out a Patrick...who is he on this board?

I really wish I had a better time...I thought the music was great, a lot of my friends were out, the place looked amazing...but due to the shitty events of the day, I just had an "alright" time. Oh well, next month!

    What a wicked night!

This party seemed to pop up out of nowhere and bite me on the ass...

Despite the fact that I sat upstairs on the bumper chairs basically all night, I had such a wicked time! I met alot of interesting people, and heard some wicked, wicked jungle...

Overall the crowd was more goth-y than usual (I think this was more of a darkrave than bla crowd), but that was really wicked...And there were alot more people that I knew there than at your usual goa party (9 out of 10 partiers are scared of goa parties for some reason)...

Thanks for a wicked party guys, I will for sure be out to the next one...

i too had an awesome time at this event, arriving with a pounding headache in tow. i guess that's what i get for drinking malt liquor in the sun all afternoon.

regardless, fun party, fun friendly people, excellent music. i jsut wish my headache would have let me stay longer.

it was great to meet jen and to party with all the tbk.

    see you next time! [IMG]

Nice Party, it was going to be hard to top the first

Lots more people then the last one, Satori played a cool set, very hyper-engergetic that I have not heard in a while.

Thanks to Tash for the Ambient Set @ 4am! probally one of the first Ambient set that I have ever listened too!

Looking forward to R3, and to listen to analog pussy!
