looking forward to zabiela's though. he always rocks it on groovetech.

  3. Parks and Wilson will be good, I hope
    Darren Emerson will be sweet
The Sasha and Digweed will be flooding audiogalaxy for a while....
I'm wondering how much time Tong/Richards and Slam are each going to have for their set. Hopefully an hour each.

From the Ministry of should prove to be interesting.

I swear to god I'm the only person who thought the Zabeila mix was boring!

Way too over the place for me.

I heard the first 4 tracks, and turned it off as well Matt. I have to give it another listen.

Your not the only one, I didn't dislike it... But it certaintly isn't something I see myself listening to much in the future. I'll take Che's CD over that any day.

I can't say it is boring but the opening 'mixtape intro' thing makes me a little uncomfortable.
There are a few standout tracks in there, a few oldies, and some of them he has played them in his groovetech sets in the same order, so there wasn't much of any surprise elements in there.
I was expecting more out of this.

Didn't like his Kiss100 set either, I'm affraid I fail to see what all the hype about him is so far.

    <--- Not for me.

Does anyone have the Layo & Bushwacka essential mix?

Either the one from 99 or '01.

The evil Rental promises me a copy, but I have yet to receive one.

it's not the greatest, but i wouldn't say it's boring.

the unkle essential mix is still my all time fave.

i was disappointed with the zabiela mix. it frusttrates me that parts of it are so good, and other parts are just dry. i guess it just wasn't what i was hoping to hear when i heard about breakbeats.

sasha and diggers should prove nice, especially since it's live. digweed's live mix from homelands last year was pretty groovy. it should provide a nice taste of what to expect when they arrive later this spring.

i'm really hoping that donald glaude turns out something great this weekend -- although he's not progressive...

It'll be a definite treat before their gig in Toronto, sasha n Dig's.
It should be a foretelling of things to come for that night.

Glaude, well even though not prog, it should be a good listen no doubt.
Circulation is one essential I'm looking forward too for sure.
