my roomates work is selling off some old computers, no monitor or keyboard.

    pentium 2, 300 Mhz
    4.2 gig harddrive
32 meg of ram (type unknown)
    AGP 3D graphics card
    CDROM (not sure of speed)

    for $100.

keep in mind that i have a pentium 166 mmx on my desk at home and have no intention of making a big upgrade anytime within the next 2 years. however, i would pull out the 64 meg of ram, my good graphics card and the hardrive that i have in my p166 and put it in the new box.

i'd pay him 50 for that

the plastic that the case is made out of is probably worth more than all that technology melted down into a silver ball.

well considering the fact that you aren't gonna shell out nealy a grand for a top of the line computer I think its a good deal. Just go buy some more ram, which won't cost ya too much and you've got a decent machine.

    Peace & love. D (running a celeron 333)

i know! i have the pci version on my p166, but the agp verision will support a DVD-ROM (unlike the pci, i found out the hard way).

    please email me.

i think $100 is a good deal. it depends on what you use your computer for though. if the computer in question will do what you need it to do, then buy it. for $100, why not. BUT if you need better than that, then hold out.

So yea it's a good deal.
