Party People come together for iDance Rally

On Tuesday, August 1, party people from across the country will congregate on Nathan Phillips Square in support of Toronto's rave and electronic music scene.

Organized by the Party People Project (P3), a community organization of ravers and allies, the iDance rally is an opportunity to showcase the vibrant, diverse dance and youth culture that has blossomed in Toronto.

P3 has joined forces with dozens of promoters, businesses and organizations to provide a community voice in the face of provincial rave legislation, and to communicate a positive message to city council the night before they reexamine their position regarding raves.

The iDance Rally will begin at 5 p.m., and will feature local and international DJs (who have donated their time) and speakers from a wide variety of various related industries and interest groups. The fun will wrap up at 10 p.m.

Expect more information as the rally approaches. For more information or to arrange interviews, please contact:
