for $200, sounds like more trouble than its worth it to recover. this guy either a) doesn't have the money (in which case he's broke and it'll be like getting water from a rock) or b) he has no sense of morality (ditto)...

chaulk it up to a lesson learned.

    i don't know about that

i would say that about 20 bucks, but 2 bills is 2 bills

i'd try to recoup at least some of it

Giving someone you don't know really well $200 worth of drugs is like leaving your keys in the car when you fill up gas....

If you can, text message his phone the way that costs him $0.15 a text, then do it ten times a day until you hear back from him. This method just worked for me last week.

Find out where he lives, make a little crack in the window of his car, and fill it with quick dry cement.

Or, if you want to do something more physically uncomfortable, stain his seats with concentrated orange juice in a can.

Finding out where he lives is pretty easy, even if you don't have his last name but you know the general area that he lives.

Depends on the carrier plan or the options provided and/or subscribed to.

well... for starters the "416-890" exchange is a Fido mobile number... if you have any buds that work for Fido they can look up his account which would give you his surname and billing address... unless he's on a prepaid plan... in which case they might not have his real name or address...

for revenge though, you could post his texting address (4168908470@fido.ca) everywhere online until the spambots pick it up and hammer his text box 3 million times a day...

Coinsider it a 200$ lesson in what not to do. If he does not honor the terms then you made a serious mistake by trusting him in the first place and not properly discussing contingencies.. Humbly admit it and move on, nobody is a perfect judge of charecter.

Yup, I never lend money. It's not such a smart thing to do...don't expect it back. If you are gonna harrass him like that, I doubt you're gonna get it back. You're just gonna irritate this shit out of him. If you want it back, you'd more likely be successful with a more mature approach.

^^^ but what are friends for?

Ok, so it's obvious that some friends are better at paying back money than others, but I'm really greatful for the times that my friends have lended me money....And yes, I have paid it all back.

Or: collect your piss & shit in a mason jar, top up with water, seal it up, shake well & then let it stand on the windowsill in the sunshine for a week, & empty that on his car seats & carpet. If your gonna take revenge, at least make it really memorable.

^^Sure perhaps if it has been your best friend for the last 8 years...and you absolutely know they are good to pay you back.

But how good of a friend can it be if he doesn't know where he lives.

I think maybe he wasn't such a good judge of character. I dunno, I know who would and wouldn't pay me back out of my freinds. It's one of those hard lessons to learn I think. I wouldn't lend 200 bucks to someone without a contract...seriously. But I doubt I'd lend 200 bucks to anyone.

I've learned that people who need money are the ones who won't pay you back.

i've lent money to friends a bunch of times and have always been paid back. i would be absolutely floored if they didn't. how does that happen?

Exactly. I lost 500 bucks to a "friend" once but gained an infinitely valuable lesson.

None of my friends have any problem with loaning me $$$ -- but, I do let them know the date on which I can repay them & I chase them down to give them thier $.

Flipside: Was it Chris Rock that said if you want to get rid of somebody, loan them money, cuz you'll never see or hear from them again?
