burning cds

    i think this question has already been asked but is there a way that i can split an mp3 up in nero so i can record it on two cds cause its too big for one?

    im sure there's another(easier) way, but this will work.
    use an editing software such as cooledit or soundforge, and split the file into 2 files this way. if you have to, use a program such as cdextractor(free) to convert from mp3 to wav.
    now you have 2 files.

    With nero 5 or more, add teh mp3 to the burnlist, then go to its properties, hit the splits limits tab

    if anyone knows an easier way please post. If no one does, then I'll be useing that method first thing tomorrow.

    Nusty,

    Take a look at this site...http://www.tranceaddict.com/software.shtml

    You want the mp3cutter software. Just drop the file you want to split into the mp3cutter directory...and it's pretty self explanatory from that point.
